After two children and four years together, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are married! The couple exchanged vows tonight at Nicole's fathers, Lionel Richie, Los Angeles estate. The couple exchanged rings by jeweler Neil Lane."They wanted an Old Hollywood, glamorous feel to their wedding," says another source. "They're going all-out with the decor. Nicole wanted a memorable, elegant affair for only their closest friends and family on their special day."
Nicole wore an "elegant" Marchesa gown with a price tag of $20,000. The dress is said to be a white, custom-made piece and when she and personal stylist Simone Harouche flew to New York last week for her final fitting, Nicole was said to be absolutely thrilled. According to a source, "it went very well."
Sources also say that Bryon of the Byron+Tracy salon in Beverly Hills styled Nicole's hair.
As for her guest list, the ceremony was an intimate affair with about 130 guests who included Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Samantha Ronson (who was a bridesmaid), however pal Christina Aguilera was not able to attend as she is in Europe promoting Burlesque.
Their adorable little girl Harlow was the flower girl and their son Sparrow was the ring bearer.
