Celebrity Wedding: Kellie Pickler and Kyle Jacobs

When we think of Kellie Pickler, words like over the top, country and comedic come to mind. So you would think that her wedding would have been an elaborate production.

This is exactly what the country star had in mind for her wedding to fiancee, songwriter Kyle Jacobs. Deep into the planning of what was going to be a glamorous Nashville wedding the couple suddenly decided to elope. They realized the wedding was becoming bigger than they ever expected.

"When two people get married, it's not about the glamour," Pickler, 24, told People Magazine. "It's about the bride and groom and God

So, instead of the glamour the couple opted for a peaceful and heavenly ceremony in Antigua. They married as the sun set over the Caribbean Sea.

"We didn't have anything but us and God and our minister," Pickler says of the ceremony, "and I can't think of a word that can quite describe how perfect it was."

Celebrity Wedding: Shania Twain and Frédéric Thiébaud

Shania Twain has gotten hitched!

After a short engagement the country superstar and Frédéric Thiébaud got married in Puerto Rico on New Year's Day.

I was so excited to here this as I myself am from Puerto Rico and I think there is nothing better than a sunset wedding in the beautiful island.

The couple exchanged vows infront of 40 of their closest family and friends in Rincon.

The couple became romantically involved in 2009, finding solace with each other after their spouses allegedly had an affair, breaking up both marriages.

In a letter to fans she posted on her Web site in December, Twain wrote about her now husband, "I am excited to share some personal news with you; I'm in love! Frédéric Nicolas Thiébaud has been a true gift to me as a compassionate, understanding friend and over time, an amazing love has blossomed from this precious friendship."

Celebrity Engagement: Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth

Reese Witherspoon is ready to walk down the aisle again!

She and Hollywood agent Jim Toth are engaged, "They are extremely happy," her rep said when confirming the news.

The Oscar-winning actress, 34, began dating Toth, 40, around January 2010, shortly after her split from Jake Gyllenhaal. The duo went public with their romance in March during a romantic birthday weekend in Ojai, Calif.

Toth works as an agent at L.A.'s Creative Artists Agency; Witherspoon is a CAA client, but Toth doesn't represent her.

Witherspoon and actor Ryan Phillippe divorced in 2008 after seven years together; the former spouses share daughter Ava, 11, and Deacon, 7.

Holiday Engagements: Celebrity Style

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian
It's official, after a very controversial start to their relationship LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibiran became engaged over the holidays.

Rimes, 28, and Cibrian, 37, were spotted on a Malibu beach on Monday, where she was wearing a new engagement ring.

The platinum sparkler features a 5-carat oval diamond set in rose gold fleur-de-lis connected to the band. The couple designed the ring together with Eddie's childhood friend Brent Polacheck at Polacheck Jewelers.

On Monday afternoon, Rimes thanked fans for their support, writing on Twitter, "Thank you for all your well wishes!! We are extremely excited and look forward to a beautiful future. It's been an incredible last few days, I was shocked!!! We are blessed, our families are so happy and our lives are filled with love."

Lily Allen and Sam Cooper
It's been a rough year for Lily Allen, but it looks like 2011 will bring much happier times. The singer is engaged to longtime boyfriend, business owner Sam Cooper.

Sam popped the question to Lily on Christmas Day while they were vacationing in Bali.

The engagement news comes on the heels of the heartbreaking news of Allen's miscarriage in the fall. The baby had been due in January.

It was the second time Allen had endured a miscarriage. In January 2008, she went through the same ordeal during her relationship with musician Ed Simons.

Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris

Mr. Playboy is off the market. Hugh Hefner proposed to girlfriend Crystal Harris after his traditional movie night this week.

The couple announced the engagement on Twitter.

"After the movie tonight, Crystal & I exchanged gifts. I gave Crystal a ring. A truly memorable Christmas Eve," Hefner, 84, wrote. "When I gave Crystal the ring, she burst into tears. This is the happiest Christmas weekend in memory."

Later, he clarified, "Yes, the ring I gave Crystal is an engagement ring. I didn't mean to make a mystery out of it. A very merry Christmas to all."

This will be the third marriage for Hefner. In 2009 he filed for divorce from his second wife, former Playmate Kimberly Conrad, after the two separated in 1998. He was previously married to Mildred Williams; their marriage ended in divorced in 1959.

Harris was December 2009's Playboy Playmate.

Celebrity Engagement: Natalie Portman and Banjamin Millepied

Its double the happy news for Natalie Portman. The actress has announced that she is both engaged and expecting her first child with choreographer Benjamin Millepied.

The couple met during the production of the highly acclaimed film Black Swan. Portman has already received a Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award nomination for her performance in the film.

This will be the first child for the actress who is due in 2011.

The other show stopper of the night was Lionel Richie's (Nicole's dad) surprise for his little girl, an Elephant! Ever since she was a little girl Nicole always wanted a real live elephant at her wedding for good luck.

"It was magical," Richie, 29, told People Magazine, for their issue that is in stores today. Madden, 31 added: "It was the best night of my life."
