For as long as I can remember, one of my dream honeymoon locations has been Tahiti. So when I found out the final for this season of The Bachelorette was taped there I couldn't wait to see the episode and get all the details on where they stayed. The episode finally aired on Monday and I was amazed by what I saw. Ali and her final 3 guys where lucky enough to stay at Le Taha'a Island Resort and Spa, a private island resort in Tahiti. I immediately did my research and found out that this is where Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban had their honeymoon, and most recently Carrie Underwood and her new husband Mike Fisher.
The resort opened in 2002 and is located on Motu Tautau on the coral reef, the resort faces the island of Taha'a on the lagoon side and offers amazing views of Bora Bora island on the ocean side.
The traditional Polynesian style hotel is 5 minutes by boat from main island of Taha'a and a 35min boat ride from Raiatea Island. The resort offers 48 Over Water Suites and 12 Beach Suites more that 100 square meters in size.
This place is the definition of romance. Even though its on the expensive side, prices start around $800 a night, it is worth every penny. If you are looking for the ultimate sexy, relaxing, and tranquil honeymoon this is the places for you!
